Biologia.
La gestazione dura circa quattro months, after which usually twins are born, although the incidence of shares in which a single pup is born is surprisingly high (one-fifth of the total). Puppies are already covered in hair, but depend on the care of adults to survive for the first two weeks of life are taken from the mother, then passed to the father, assisted by other members of the group.
care group of young people is an important feature of the tamarins, there is a real hierarchy in the group with subjects that provide a lot of attention to small devon.
The Tamarin Brazilian diet consists of fruit, flowers, nectar, exudates of trees and small animals such as insects, lizards and other small vertebrates. In nature, Tamarin use about 60 percent of the day to obtain food, moving on all fours through the trees and jumping among the branches. The
scimmieTamarin are known to communicate through the marking of territory, which seems to be important in social and sexual behaviors. In captivity they grow close to scoring when entering unknown animals.
Threats
The Brazilian Tamarin is one of the most endangered primates in the Amazon forest because of its small size, this is vuto mainly because of continued loss of habitat. The forest its habitat is destroyed to make way for agriculture, livestock, and the espasione urban areas. Sometimes they are also caught for the pet trade.

Conservation.
This primate is about to be declared endangered, there are many efforts carried out by the Committee for the Conservation and Management of Records of the Amazon to ensure that their habitat is affected more than necessary. They are also protected by the Project for the conservation and sustainable use of biological diversity in Brazil (PROBE), which includes a plan management for its preservation.
