Binil è il presidente dell'associazione dei bengalesi indù di Bologna (Sanatan Sanskritik Parishad) che riunisce persone provenienti dall'India e dal Bangladesh. Hanno circa 60 famiglie di iscritti con più di 300-350 persone in tutto.
